It's been over twenty years since I first stepped on stage at 14 uears of age playing in bars and concert halls. Classically trained as a tubists then switching to bass, a natural double. At Kent State University I studied under Chas Baker a former Bone for Sinatra. He encougagedme to play more bass. Offered atour in late 1988 I ended up playing with Dr. Joh for about a year, on and off when needed. I then began touring and playing with lots f vocalists and horn players. Getting a big chance I played with Dizzy Gillespie for 6 months. This was toward his end, still an amzing time. After that I took on my nostalgia tours such as The Buckinghams, Temptations, Motown Revues Shows and plenty of one off gigs. Ending up playing with The Lettermen in the mid 90's. Switching up I took several gigs with semi rock characters like Hiram Bullock, Tommy Tutone and such. This was ended by a stint with Slash (Guns N' Roses). I have since been doing a lot of West End /Broadway tours in the US, Canada, and Europe. Throughout Europe I have worked with Jamie Michael Stewart (Jazz Singer), Marty Henne (US Pianist), Byron Neese (Toronto Phantom), Pete Neighbour (Jazz Clarinetist), Darren Williams (Aus Phantom) many as their Musical Director.
I play Electric 4-5-6 String basses, Fretless and Upright bass as well...
